Senior Communication Manager

For the Group Corporate Communications team, we are looking for a: Senior Communications Manager

The Corporate Communications team is responsible for creating and driving consistent corporate communication, building, and protecting the brand worldwide, and supporting and aligning corporate culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategic and tactical external communications plans with the objective to create and build a positive desired brand and company reputation, boost brand equity, and add value to our clients business.
  • Creates and executes an aligned communication framework to drive One Vision-One Voice in the global organization.
  • Ensures consistent delivery of on brand and on strategy key messages, in line with the company narrative, and mission-vision and purpose, to external audiences to create brand equity.
  • Drives media coverage and handles media request in relevant international trade publications as well as influential business media in line to corporate strategic pillars.
  • Oversee company’s media monitoring while also evaluating industry news and media coverage of issues that are of interest to the company.
  • Maintains and builds upon solid business and trade contacts, at broadcast, print and online media outlets.
  • Creates communications materials; briefing documents, press releases, statements, talking points, scripts, FAQ’s, positioning statements, financial communication, company presentations, M&A announcements, HSEQ relates communications.
  • Co develops global campaigns, storytelling and corporate initiatives, line with brand position and narrative.
  • Ensures that business group positioning is in line with corporate brand and narrative.
  • Identifies and cultivates content sources within the organization.
  • Proactively cultivates relationships with internal international stakeholders to stay on top of relevant business information, market trends and opportunities.
  • Acts as a sparring partner for senior management on communications topics.

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Advisor for business groups on consistent communication, campaign strategy
  • Stakeholder management keeps well informed on important Business Group development and achievements and amplifies messaging


Requirements

  • 10+ years of corporate communications experience, preferably in a B2B industry related field.
  • Proven track record of building positive company reputation and successful media relationship management.
  • Experience in developing and successfully executing communications plans.
  • Self-directed and results driven personality.
  • Trusted advisor.
  • Phenomenal writing skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Master’s Degree in communications, journalism, English, public relations, marketing, or similar relevant experience.
  • Fluent in British English and second language Dutch.
  • Likes to work in small, high-quality team with a hands-on mentality.
